Finishing Chemicals Services

About Our Services

Textile finishing chemicals are used to change the properties of fabrics. They can improve the look, functionality, and quality of fabrics.
There are different types of finishing chemicals as per below.

  1. SOFTNERS
  2. SPECIALITY FINISHING CHEMICALS

1. Softeners:
These are applied to impart a pleasing touch or feel to textiles, often acting as lubricants to facilitate fibre sliding within the fabric structure.

Types of Softeners:
• Silicone Softeners: Known for providing a unique silky feel, silicone softeners are primarily used for synthetic fabrics and can improve water repellency.
• Amino Silicone Softeners: These provide a soft finish on the fabric and help give the desired hand feel.
• Cationic, Anionic, and Non-ionic Softeners: These work through different molecular interactions with fibres.

2. SPECIALITY FINISHING CHEMICALS:

Types of specialty finishing chemicals:

  • Water Repellents: Chemicals that create a hydrophobic surface on textiles, preventing water from penetrating the fabric.
  • Wrinkle-Resistant Agents: Chemicals that reduce or prevent wrinkles in fabrics.
  • Flame Retardants: Chemicals that make fabrics resistant to burning or flame spread.
  • Anti-microbial Agents: Chemicals that inhibit the growth of microorganisms on fabrics.
  • UV Protection Agents: Chemicals that protect fabrics from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation.
  • Stain Resistance Agents: Chemicals that help prevent stains from penetrating and damaging fabrics.
  • Enzyme Wash Chemicals: Specialized agents used to create soft finishes and unique looks on fabrics by breaking down surface fibers.
  • Surfactants: Used as antistatic, wetting, untangling, and softening agents in textile manufacturing processes.
